This collection is inspired by the mythical creatures and strange depiction of animals in Persian rugs.

Phoenix قُقنوس (Qoqnus) symbolizes the feminine or earth element. This receptive principle embodies life in form and nurtures it to grow. The mythological Dragon and Phoenix appears in many genres of antique carpets, symbolizing the masculine and feminine forces of the universe, the pairing of which connote harmony and good fortune.
